It's stated that Yatta's a vegetarian, so she probably only works at Mudka's for the money and not the food, since the place obviously sells mostly meat-type foods. Her social butterfly attitude often distracts her from doing her job, though and she is left keeping angry customers waiting. Her best female friend in Kuzco Academy is Yatta, since they are. Kuzco has a crush on her, which he openly shows, and Malina sometimes shows signs of reciprocity. She is the best student in Kuzco Academy and has a lot of student awards. She's a country girl with a strong Tennessean accent (like her voice actress in real-life), and is very nice and kind to Mudka's Meat Hut customers. Malina is a character from The Emperor's New School, technically the major female character in the series, despite she doesn't appear in any of the two movies. She was first seen in The Emperor's New Tuber. Yatta is Malina's best friend, always hanging out with her, and works as a waitress at Mudka's Meat Hut.
